Inspired by the Grandmothers in our family.

naNA + loLA = NALA.

Named after our Grandmamas — Nana and Lola — NALA is rooted in strength, care, and selfless love.
They showed us what it means to show up for others, especially during life’s hardest transitions. That spirit lives in every kit we create.

Our Mission

We believe postpartum care isn’t a luxury — it’s essential.
NALA provides thoughtfully curated kits that help new Mamas rest, recover, and feel supported. And for every kit sold, we donate one to a local women’s shelter — reaching Mamas facing poverty and hardship with the same dignity and care.

Why It Matters

Postpartum can be overwhelming, whether it’s your first baby or your fifth.
Our kits are designed to bring a sense of calm, comfort, and control during a time that often feels anything but. When a Mama is supported, she’s better equipped to care for herself, her baby, and her family.

What’s Inside

Each product in our kit is hand-selected for safety, sustainability, and healing — from non-toxic personal care items to locally sourced essentials.
We partner with small businesses whenever possible, making every kit a gift that supports both the recipient and the community.

Our Story

Hi, I’m Nicole — an R.N., small business owner, and most importantly, a mom to two amazing boys.
As a nurse, I’ve seen firsthand how vital care and recovery are after childbirth. And as a mother, I know how intense and emotional that time can be. That’s why I started NALA — to help bridge the gap in postpartum support. Too many women face this season with little guidance or resources, and I’m passionate about changing that.

The idea for NALA began after our first son, Theo, was born — and it truly took shape when our second, Noah, arrived just over a year later.
Motherhood was a whole new world, and the postpartum healing process came with a steep learning curve. One thing that made all the difference? A ready-to-use kit I had put together ahead of time. It turned a vulnerable, overwhelming season into something more manageable — even comforting.

It made me think deeply about the Mamas who might not have the time, energy, or resources to prepare for their own recovery.
If NALA can help even one Mama feel cared for — so she can care for herself and those around her — that’s the kind of impact we’re here for.
